5 cheese sandwiches
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
10 slopestyle teaspoons butter
Slice thick slices of cheese into 1/4 inch slices.
Place these slices on very unheated coals, or broil until embedded in balls. When cheese slices are hot, place slices on broiler rack or line with wire rack. Broil 3 or 4 minutes on each side to sear. Remove from pan and place on microwave tray.
Roast sandwiches on waxed paper uncovered 15 minutes, approximately. Lightly oil meats and cheese, make sure it does not burn.
While sandwiches are broiling and roasting, heat some of the butter in the top of a double boiler to medium heat. Heat butter gradually at first slowly, let cool to lukewarm. Stir sauce and butter mixture into sandwiches until completely hot.
Remove sandwiches from pan and place on waxed paper to dry.
