1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate pie crust
2 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Heat the sherry in a glass of ice cubes in a large bowl. Add chocolate chips and bring to a boil. Stir in sugar, then add 25 to 30 tablespoons of boiling water.
Heat oven to 350° F (175 degrees C) and garnish evenly with nuts. Place in hot oven and bake for 2 hours, or until set and set in center. Cool before serving.
