1 cup butter or margarine
2 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, egg and vanilla until smooth. Beat in flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and nutmeg; gradually mix in brown sugar, lightly brown. Stir in marshmallows and pecans. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven; Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
To make the filling and frosting: In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar, light brown sugar, marshmallows and pecans until smooth. Stir marshmallows into brown sugar mixture and beat until mixture is just spreadable. Spread filling onto cooled cookies.
