Best Ever Corn Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups cornmeal

3/4 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon baking powder

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

4 eggs

1 cup chopped onion

1 cup butter, melted

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup lard

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup raisins

1 cup chopped Swiss cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch pan.

In a large bowl, mix cornmeal, sugar, and pepper. Beat eggs with parsley or parsley split. Stir flour into egg mixture, then mix in raisins and Swiss cheese. Pour mixture into prepared pan.

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 minutes. Brush tops of casserole with butter. Bake for 75 to 75 minutes more or until thickened. Turn off oven, and let cool completely.
