1/3 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 egg whites
7 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, white sugar and salt until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and vanilla. Combine the flour mixture with the milk and egg whites, beating well. Stir in the salt, whip cream and cornstarch. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow cool cake to cool completely.
