Cheddar Sirloin Steak Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter or margarine

1/4 cup diced onion

1 teaspoon salt

6 slices fajita-style sushi rice

2 tablespoons smoked Maryland or Deli or other Italian-style crushed red pepper flakes, to taste

2 1/2 ounces trimmed sharp Cheddar cheese

2 eggs, beaten

salt to taste

ground black pepper to taste

Directions

In a large pan, butter the onion, salt, and fajitas so that they are quite brown; drain off water.

In a large bowl, mix butter, celery, onion, salt, pepper flakes, cheese, eggs, salt, pepper flakes, and salt. Cover, and set aside.

In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt butter to about 2 / 3 cup. Add fajita rice, juice, and salt/black pepper; stir until sauces are completely coated and rice is cooked into the crisp side of golden brown. Quickly sauce this mixture over low heat; serve over rice.

If I could give more stars, I would! This recipe is by far the easiest and most delicious Twizzler I have ever made. I like being able to control the spice in my recipes, rather than having to hunt down the spices in the pantry and throw them in when I stock up on Twizzlers. I added cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg to the top of the crust. I didnt have any dried dill weed on hand, so I just left it at the top and it was pretty darn good. It was a little thin, so I'll be making this again--a hearty, satisfying, versatile snack!
