3 8 ounce packages strawberry cream frosting mix
3/4 cup chopped pecans
5 cups sliced fresh cherries
1/2 cup chopped seeds
3 bananas
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 (3 ounce) can mandarin oranges
1/2 cup rum
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans.
To Make the Frosting: in a medium bowl, beat chilled whip cream until stiff peaks form. Mix together strawberry jelly, pecans, cherries, seeds, bananas and oranges.
Make the Filling: In a separate bowl, beat whipped cream until stiff peaks form. Add bananas, oranges and rum and mix together. Sprinkle over the cake.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Chill in the refrigerator before cutting.
