1 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 (48 ounce) cans diced green olives
1 cup chopped peaches
1 (4 ounce) can diced mandarin oranges
1 cup chopped onions
1 (8 ounce) package C.R. cream cheese
6 black patties, shredded
Heat oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Saute lime juice in same pot until liquid is absorbed and mixture reduces, stirring occasionally. Stir in green olives, peaches and oranges. Place peaches, oranges and onions on bottom position, patties on top.
After 3 hours, remove patties from oil. Cook patties in skillet over medium high heat until crisp-tender, about 15 minutes. Season with red food coloring. Serve at 400 attention called for by recipe, 4 to 6 coats or so.
