1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 (1 ounce) package dry corn bread mix
1 (3 ounce) can chopped carrots, drained
1 (3 ounce) bottle beef broth
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Place soup mix, corn bread mix, carrots and beef broth in a slow cooker. Add water as needed and mix well. Set on low setting for 8 hours, or on high for 1 hour.
If desired, cover and refrigerate leftover mixture.
Remove cover from mixture and stir one time while stirring. Force all contents into a separate small container or bowl. Divide mixture into 4 small bowls, place cheese in each of 2 small bowls and spoon cheese over meat mixture.
