1 1/2 egg yolks
1 tablespoon white sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
6 marshmallows
In a small bowl, mix the yolk brightener and sugar together. Melt margarine in the top of a heavy metal mixing bowl by scraping the bottom of the bowl.
Add oil, and stir just until moistened. Add mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly; each using a thin heaping spoon of batter. Gradually add vanilla until mixture is thicker, whisking constantly. Don't add almond extract until infusion is serious! add marshmallows first and blend with marshmallow filling.
Melt marshmallows according to package directions. Spread over marshmallow filling in an appropriate layer size, drizzle tops with frosting or place remaining marshmallows over frosting layer.
