8 large onion, sliced
2 large yellow squash, cut into wedges
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
2 cups water
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon dried parsley
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons dried savory
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
2 tablespoons dried parsley
Place onions, squash, brown sugar, garlic salt, oregano, water and basil in medium salvester over medium heat. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Remove vegetables from pan and stir into soup; transfer to blender or food processor for liquid. Mix together with lemon juice, parsley and salt, and sprinkle mixture over steak starter packet. Serve with rice, potato salad or pasta next time you want to grill steak.
