Hot Tomato Sauce Triple Pineapple Chutney Recipe

Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained

1 (10 ounce) package dry onion soup mix

1 (4 ounce) package dry sliced pineapple

1 small tomato stick, divided

1 cup grapeseed oil

1/2 cup chopped onions

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon chopped green onions

1/3 cup uncooked white rice

Directions

In a medium saucepan, place pineapple slices. Stir in soup mix, sliced pineapple and tomato stick. Cover, remove from heat and let cool. Serve warm over rice.

Great recipe. First thing I did was to check that the right amount of lemon was added; it usually isn't necessary. Made sure to take plenty of desiccated tomato sauce; used Balsamic Vinaigrette which I like but found to be a tad bland. Bon Appetite!
