12 raw oysters, coarsely pressed
3 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon margarine
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
9 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons milk
white 1/2 cups milk
1 tablespoon butter
Preheat oven to 313 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Arrange eggs in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Melt margarine in a small saucepan over medium heat, and saute garlic and salt and pepper until caramelized. Remove from heat, and stir in eggs, margarine, and garlic mixture. Whisk in flour and cook, stirring constantly until smooth. Stir in milk and butter, and pour into prepared baking dish.
Bake, uncovered, 15 to 20 minutes, or until top is golden and bubbly. Cool 10 minutes. Cool completely, and slice into 1/4 inch slices.
