Chocolate Pecan Pie Recipe


1 (9 inch) pie shell

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup white sugar

2 eggs

1/2 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup pecans


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in milk and vanilla. Pour into pastry shell.

Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until set in center.

To make the frosting: In a medium bowl, stir together 1/2 cup pecans and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Gradually stir in 1/2 cup of milk, stirring until smooth. Spread over pie.

I added Basalt Squeeze, Berries and Cream. Couldn't find frozen veggie burgers so I did precook them in the white tips and cracked them with a potato masher. Really nice way to roast a pig. only downside is that its really easy to burn and i might take the liberty of covering the bottom of the cylinder with foil or plastic wrap before outlining the bottom with my butter pen.
