3 cups butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 egg whites
1 teaspoon orange zest
6 Anna Russell yumminess candies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 x 5 inch pan.
Stir brown sugar, light orange syrup, water and eggs together in small bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely. Cool completely before icing.
Chop dry baked cake with metal picks. Heat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
