2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chocolate syrup
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/8 cup margarine
Combine flour, brown sugar, chocolate syrup and butter in large bowl. Mix with fingertips for approximately 10 minutes.
Heat oil in deep-fryer or microwave-safe glass Dutch oven until golden. Lay 1 teaspoon flour into prepared Dutch oven pan. Set aside. Heat 1 tablespoon margarine; spread over wet flour mixture. Cook on medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until golden and water is evaporated. Allow to cool and serve.
