1/2 cup Italian-style seasoning
8 slices celery
8 slices onions
8 slices Swiss cheese
2 teaspoons ketchup
2 teaspoons Worchestershire sauce
2 teaspoons cardamom
2 teaspoons oregano
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
Combine Italian salt, celery salt, onion salt and cheese salt in a small bowl. Mix thoroughly.
Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Place celery slices on 1/2 of the slices of butter. Spread remaining butter onto celery slices, leaving about 1/2 inch for butter to stick. Fry celery slices until lightly browned, but not brown.
Transfer celery slices to a medium bowl. Stir in ketchup, Worchestershire sauce, cardamom, oregano, garlic powder, salt, dry mustard, oil. Fry celery slices until lightly fried, adding in extra 1/2 teaspoon parmesan if desired.
