Strawberry Recipe

Ingredients

9 cups white sugar

2 eggs

1 tablespoon water

6 ripe blueberries

1/2 cup water

4 tablespoons butter

Directions

Melt sugar in a 4 quart saucepan over low heat. Stir in eggs one at a time. Stir in 3/4 cup water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, stir in butter and boil, uncovered for 2 minutes.

I submitted this recipe many years ago as a Christmas gift. it is great as is but I would have given more stars. I made Bonito and got good reviews. But, I added sugar and processed my flour by hand. Really slow and boring way to make a munch.
