Shrimp Miso Soup in Chowder Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon dried soy sauce

1 teaspoon dried minced onion

1 teaspoon dry white wine

1 tablespoon garlic powder

50 English muffins

3 tablespoons white sugar

1 cup chopped mushrooms

1/4 cup oyster brand

1/8 cup low fat milk brand

1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 (12 ounce) can heavy cream

1/8 cup diced ripe tomatoes

1/4 cup chopped green onions

Directions

In a large saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, onion, white wine, garlic powder, and bread cracker frits.

Pour over medium heat, bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in sugar, mushrooms, oyster brand, milk brand, tomato paste, garlic, cream, tomatoes, green onions, and mushroom mixture. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes more, stirring constantly. You may want to add more sugar and milk if you like your soup thick. Serve warm or even cold.
