1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons lard
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon white sugar
In a large bowl, stir together flour, salt, pepper and lard. Mix together with a wooden spoon until smooth.
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and soy sauce. Mix well. Gradually stir in sugar, stirring until a thick paste forms. (Note: Do not mix lard or cornstarch with the soy sauce.)
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add pork and stir-fry 5 minutes on each side, until browned and no longer pink.
