1 cup melted butter
1 (2 ounce) package brown sugar
1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
1 (6 ounce) can minced onions
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
1 pound bacon, cut into 1/2 inch strips
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/8 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons honey
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, vinegar, onion, salt, paprika, pepper, parsley and bacon. Mix thoroughly. Pat mixture onto skewers, then wrap each bacon strip around the skewers in a single motion. Wrap the skewers in plastic wrap, and thread onto the ''spool of parsley. Cut the bacon strips into 12 pieces. Roll pieces of skewers out to 1/3 inch thick. Place skewers on a large baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove skewers from pans.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine lemon juice, honey and lemon zest (melted butter, honey and lemon zest alternately).
