1/2 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 pound beef sirloin, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
2 tablespoons Italian-style seasoning
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 cup baby carrots
1/2 cup sliced red onions
In a medium bowl, mix honey, garlic powder and oil. In a medium bowl, mix beef cubed, Italian-style seasoning, parsley, green onions, cilantro and red onions.
Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat; place beef cubes in skillet. Cook until browned; drain.
While beef cubes are cooking, heat oil in a large bowl over medium heat. Add wine, stir and cook until reduced by half (about 5 minutes). Cover; allow to simmer.
Return beef cubes to skillet; heat just and stir in browned wine. Return to a slow heat, stirring constantly, until beef is well browned.
Return skillet to a slow heat; add carrots and red onion. Stirring again, cook until carrots are tender.
Return skillet to a slow heat; reduce heat to low. Sprinkle beef cubes with parsley and green onions. Return to a slow heat, stirring constantly, until beef is browned and vegetables are tender.
