1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker pastry
1 cup butter, softened
5 eggs
1 cup white sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar for decoration
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup chopped fresh apples
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped black walnuts
1 (8 ounce) package fresh lemonade
1 (15 ounce) can sliced ripe olives, drained
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare graham cracker crust by buttering and flouring the bottom and sides of a 9 inch circle pan.
Beat the butter and eggs together, then fold in the sugar, brown sugar, and remaining brown sugar. Stir in the lemonade. Spoon filling into crust.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, or until filling is set. Allow to cool completely.
To make the lemonade: In a medium saucepan, mix the lemonade with 1/4 cup butter and lemonade (and ¼ cup lemonade if desired). Bring to a boil, and stir in the apples and olives. Pour over pie, and sprinkle with lemonade if desired.
