1 pound lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1/4 cup sliced bread
1 fresh tomato, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
2 large carrots, peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon dried parsley, minced
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
3 tablespoons grape juice
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook beef until it starts to brown. Remove from skillet, and set aside. Pour in onion and bread into a separate large bowl. Mix olive oil, cheese, sour cream, carrots, parsley, Cajun seasoning, sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, oregano and grape juice. Cover, and simmer 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
