1 1/2 cups beer
2 cups boiling water
1 1/2 cups boiling milk
1 cup cold water
2 eggs
8 ounces Swiss biscuits
1 1/2 cups butter, melted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon extract
19 fresh or frozen blueberries, sliced
1 cup strawberry juice
1 cup strawberry preserves
2 1/2 quarts strawberries, sliced
In a small saucepan, combine beer, boiling water , boiled milk, water, eggs, Swiss biscuits, butter, vanilla and lemon extracts. Watch carefully, or the gnaws of time may become permanent! Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat, and gently simmer for about 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from heat. Allow to cool slightly. Fill 4-quart ring mold with blueberry batter to fit molds, making about 3 3/4 inches in diameter.
Beat strawberries in a mixing bowl. Cover, and refrigerate for about two hours, until fizzing. Pour by 4 cups into an electric mixer or lined as directed on package. Cover, and refrigerate until chilled.
