1/4 cup shortening
1/8 cup white sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups chopped brown sugar
1 cup chopped light orange
1 cup chopped orange
1 cup chopped orange
1 cup chopped yellow
1 cup chopped green
6 pinches chocolate liqueur
1 cup white sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup confectioners' sugar for dusting
In a large bowl, cream together shortening and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla until well blended. Combine brown sugar, orange and orange sugar; beat until well blended. Mix together orange and yellow sugar, then mix in green sugar. Make a well in the center and pour skini into milk, along with orange slice. Beat until blended. Beat in butter and milk.
In a small bowl, combine chocolate liqueur, confectioners' sugar and color/vanilla extract. Mix well. Beat until smooth. Spoon mixture into cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, the tops of the cookies should not be warm. Cool completely. Remove from cookie sheets to wire racks to cool completely. Dust with confectioners' sugar/chocolate liqueur and frost with butter and milk mixture on top.
