3 tablespoons butter
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup sliced yellow onions
2 cups sour cream
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried pepper
2 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
In large bowl, butter an 8x8-inch pan. Dissolve butter in 1 cup of boiling water; remove from heat. Add almonds, then yellow onions, sour cream, parsley, basil, pepper and cheese; toss together. Chill until serving.
