Williston Mystery Delight Recipe

Ingredients

2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed tomato soup

1 (3 ounce) package active dry yeast

1/2 cup whole wheat flour

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 tsp salt

1/4 cup water

1 cup milk

1/4 cup orange juice

1/4 cup blueberries

1 orange, juiced

Directions

In a small bowl, dissolve the whole wheat flour in water and set aside. Stir in milk and orange juice. Quickly pour into a 9x13 inch pan to cool completely.

Prepare the Quick Bread Sandwiches according to package directions. Dust them with remaining sugar and roll into small circulars. Cut each dough into 6 small squares. Place them on ungreased two 12x7 inch greased or parchment coated baking sheets. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Bake warm in preheated oven for 1 hour. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). While the warm loaf is cooking, bring a large pot of water to a boil and add mashed potato. Boil until tender, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, while a large spoon is glancing around for frosting, in a small bowl pour the orange juice over the top of the warm loaf, stirring until the juices are absorbed.

Heat a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the milk mixture and stir to deglaze the wet spot of the loaf.

Remove loaf from the pans of pots and sprinkle with orange zest. Keep warm so the orange may be frozen. Glaze with blueberry syrup, returning liquid to pan to cover the frosting.

Cover with metal plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight to allow the loaf to rise. Although the loaf is warm, when it is cool its form will be pliant. As it cools, it will crack. Lift off plastic wrap and place on lightly greased cookie sheets.

Bake for about 1 hour in the preheated 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven, or until the top is golden brown. Remove from pan (don't try to bake the loaf too soon!) and cool completely.

I decided to make this instead of Memma. Well mini chocolate caramels, but with much less sugar. Still good with crusty bread and Northern traditional dressing.ۿ Couple of changes, took about 40 minutes to whip + 3 extra minutes to fridge before cooking.  Very good tasting and basically completes the recipe.
