Overnight Rice Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon white sugar

4 ounces cooked rice, divided

1 onion, diced

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon white sugar

Directions

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in garlic and oil, salt, sugar, rice and onion. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in parsley, red pepper flakes, chili powder, cumin, salt and sugar. Pour mixture over rice.
