2 1/2 pounds ground beef
8 ounces spicy Mexican sausage, sliced
1 (14 ounce) can juices
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger chili powder
1 (3 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers
1 (15 ounce) can diced green chile peppers, drained
2 (1 ounce) squares unsuedied Mexican food coloring
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef, Mexican sausage and juices. Stirring well, place the chile powder in the bottom of a steamer or 12 inch glass baking dish or glass baking pan.
Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, stirring occasionally, until meat is evenly browned.
