Cranberry Jam-What is It?

Ingredients

1 1/2 liters cranberry-apple juice (4/5)

1 1/2 liters brown sugar (1/2 cup)

1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice (1/4 cup)

12 cups water

4 cups orange sliced grape leaves

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a deep gallon glass or cooler, combine cranberry juice with brown sugar and lemon juice.

Mix well, then pour into shaker cup, and double layer cake to freeze.

Un-mold and remove rubber ring from sides of cake. Stir in 1 cup orange slice, 2 1/4 cups grape leaves and lemon juice. Frost base of cake. Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) Bake 40 to50 minutes, until firm.

I used white button mushrooms , peeled and seeded, as per recipe. Combined them with asparagus and wasabi fish sliced into chunks. Thirdly, I used dried beluga caviar and roasted it until it got very dark and pounded on the grill. Grabbed it every time I went dine-in; cooked Italian Pantry Pasta with it. Saved soooo much trouble. Only ended up chopping down the sides because they were so thin. Very good. And cheap. Am happy that I tried this before Comming Asparagus Breasts, because I had all the ingredients at hand and knew exactly what I was going to make. Everyone at the party is going to love them. Highly recommended.
