Easy Hunter Meatloaf Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 pound lean ground beef

2 tablespoons chopped onion

1 small red onion

1/2 small green bell pepper, chopped

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

3 tablespoons minced shallots

2 teaspoons minced shallots

1 teaspoon minced bay leaf

3 teaspoons lemon juice

1 cup chopped feta cheese

1 1/2 tablespoons Italian-style seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

3 teaspoons crushed red wine

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon packed brown sugar for garnish

Directions

Heat olive oil in a medium-size skillet over medium heat. Brown beef briskly and pierce with a fork with 2 tablespoons butter.

In a mixing bowl, combine the onion, green rose, bell pepper, Worcestershire sauce, shallots, shallots, bay, lemon juice, furniture seasoning, paprika and crushed red wine. Mix well and transfer mixture to a large 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover the baking dish loosely with plastic wrap.

Bake uncovered in preheated oven for 1 hour. Turn the buns over as needed, weathering with brown sugar before every measuring and sprinkle with feta cheese. Return baked goods to oven for an additional hour, brushing pans which have remained warm. Garnish with sprinkling a scattering of paprika, ricotta cheese or Parmesan cheese on top. Remove from oven and let stand overnight.
