2 (10 ounce) packages Georgia peach puree
1 cup butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 (12 ounce) package honey chocolate candy
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (8 inch) loaf pans.
In a large bowl, mix together peach puree, 1 cup butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, sugar, milk, flour, baking powder and honey. Add honey mixture to peach mixture, mixing just until combined.
Pour peach mixture into prepared pans. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
I changed the recipe a little bit; I used Johnsonville Pride Cut Pasta, used regular button mushrooms, and added a little extra broth. I could see adding orange zest to this too.
