1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 large onion, diced
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
1 medium head cabbage, chopped
1 medium red cabbage, shredded
1 medium onion, halved
1 medium potato, peeled and diced
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup frozen mixed vegetables
1/4 cup chopped cooked chicken breast meat
1/8 teaspoon salt
Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Saute onion and bell pepper for about 5 minutes, stirring, until tender. Stir in cabbage and cauliflower; change to a bone broth to keep them from turning mushy. Stir in chicken and stir in flour and salt. Stir in pepper and chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Add mixed vegetables, chicken breast meat, salt and chicken. Cook 5 minutes, stirring well.
