8 sheets white flan, folded
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon lemon extract
2 cups cooked heavy cream, whipping
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease 9x13-inch pan.
Use the dice in the rolled out white flan mixture to make rolls. Place rolls in the prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven until somewhat browned, about 55 minutes.
In a medium saucepan, heat milk and butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar and lemon extract; cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Slowly pour cream into saucepan over low heat. Return mixture to saucepan slowly and simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 40 minutes.
Remove rolls from oven and place on a wire rack to cool overnight. Wrap with aluminum foil and let cool completely before removing from pan.
