1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
1 (8 ounce) can evaporated milk
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, divided
1 egg, beaten
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese , softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, snipped
1 (3 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
In a large bowl, mix 1/2 cup of evaporated milk with 1/2 cup of butter. Stirring often, stir flour into milk mixture. Continue stirring until mixture is thick and creamy. Fold in 1 egg and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract until well blended. Pour mixture into pie shell. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/4 cup of butter, cream cheese, 1/2 cup pecans, 1/4 cup crushed pecans and 1/4 cup crushed pecans. Beat in pudding mix.
