1 cup butter, sifted
2/3 cup white sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour, or as needed
3 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups pure espresso coffee
1 3/4 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 (3 ounce) packages white chocolate sprinkles
3 cups crushed cornflakes cereal
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease and flour (or relatively lightly grease and flour) 9 or 9-inch round pans.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter, sugar and flour. Remove from heat; stir in the eggs, baking powder, vanilla, espresso coffee, milk, brown sugar, 1 cup flour and 1 cup espresso coffee.
Pour batter into prepared pans. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the cake comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire rack.
