Chocolate Mint Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup white sugar

1 cup buttermilk

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

3/4 cup honey

1 teaspoon milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup packed light brown sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar for dusting

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. Make sure that you have parchment paper on top of the paper.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, brown sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the flour, baking powder and salt. Combine the flour, baking powder and honey; stir into the creamed mixture until well blended.

Drop cookie sheets roughly onto the parchment paper and spread evenly.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are golden and the cookie is light brown.
