2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
5 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 8 inch pans.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, eggs, vanilla and chopped walnuts. Mix until mixture resembles coarse pancake batter. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until bubbly and crisp and a toothpick inserted in center of each pan comes out clean.
