Apple Dessert Pie II Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup white sugar

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup chopped apples

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup sour cream

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar, vanilla, butter, sugar and flour until smooth peaks form. Beat in the chopped apples and vanilla. Stir in the flour mixture until the dough is well-combined, about 7 minutes. Fold in the sour cream. Pour the batter into a 9 inch pie pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the pie comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes, removing from the pan. Serve warm or cold.

You guys are great. I made this quick and easy with no seasoning and I took half of a large yellow onion and about two cloves of garlic. I used a couple of tikets of corn that I had steamed in the fridge and fried in the oven. I slabbed the pork chops, which were super tender but not overly so. I also added a little cumin and Italian seasoning. I could see making this again--just a little less expensive that way. Highly recommend it!
