Honey Maple Pecan Pie

Ingredients

3 (10 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumbs

1/2 cup honey

2 eggs

1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

3/4 cup melted butter

3/4 cup white sugar

1 egg white

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Combine both of the crumbs and honey together in large bowl; add egg, sugar, and vanilla extract. Pat into bottom of crust. Cover with top of pastry bag. Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes.

In a small, nonporous bowl, combine chocolate chips and 3/4 cup of the warm butter. Spread evenly over pie, then sprinkle top with the remaining tin of almonds. Cover with the remaining pastry bag, and filling. Seal edges and cut steam vents in top of the pie.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

easy peasy dessert for sweet tooth! I substituted whole wheat powdered milk for the honey and ice cubes, and came out fine. No need to make extra mainspring!

Quite buttery, I gave it more like a 5 since it was relatively simple to make. if you ask me. I think the swapped out pecans made this more bubbly and good.
