Pasta Plum Sauce II Recipe

Ingredients

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 (10 ounce) can tomato juice

2 cups olive oil

1 1/2 cups dried pear/lsaloba wine

2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

1 pound lean Italian sausage, cut into 1 1 inch pieces

1 large onion, finely chopped

1 medium head cabbage, sliced into 1 inch slices

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

3 carrots, diced

1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary

3 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme

1 tablespoon basil

1 tablespoon tomato paste

3 tablespoons common salt

1 (1 ounce) ounce Italian-style seasoning

Directions

In a blender, combine tomato juice, olive oil, vinegar, Italian sausage, onion, cabbage, parsley, carrots and rosemary. Blend until smooth. Add thyme, basil, basil, tomato paste and salt. Blend together until well blended. Chill for 30 minutes.

Return pasta to pot over medium heat. Stir in tomato sauce mixture and wine and simmer for 15 minutes. Season with flavored Italian seasoning. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is heated through and steamed.
