1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup bourbon
1/2 cup wheat soda
2 fluid ounces carbonated water
1 1/2 fluid ounces light rum
2 teaspoons Oregano
2 teaspoons chopped basil
1 teaspoon Parsley
1/3 salt and pepper to taste
In a tall glass, combine the salt and bourbon. Bring the water to a boil, and cook the mixture. Cool to temperature, then stir in wheat soda, carbonated water, rum and oregano. Pour in cooked liquid into gelatin and mix well. Add basil sprigs and Parmesan cheese; mix well. Add additional salt and pepper if desired. Refrigerate overnight for up to 8 hours before serving.
