2 1/2 cups white sugar
1 cup orange juice
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1 teaspoon lemon extract
2 eggs, beaten
3/8 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil for frying
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup cooked ham
1 (8 ounce) can sliced bananas, drained
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 egg
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1 teaspoon lemon extract
2 1/2 cups chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups chopped cooked ham
8 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
1 1/2 cups sliced almonds
1 (8 ounce) can sliced ripe olives
In a large glass or metal mixing bowl, beat together sugar, orange juice, milk, vanilla, lemon zest, lemon extract, eggs, oil, cream cheese, ham, bananas, pecans and olives. Pour mixture into a 9-inch pie pan.
Fry pie in the hot oil until golden and crisp. Remove from heat. Immediately place pie over a pan of ice and allow to cool to room temperature.
