Pork Shells I Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound boneless pork loin roast

1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons sesame seeds

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 tsp mustard powder

3 tablespoons soy sauce mix

1 teaspoon hot water

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, sesame seeds, chili powder, mustard powder, soy sauce mix, and hot water. Fill pork loin cavities with the mixture, and place them in the oven to brown.

Remove the loin from the oven, and place it on a medium baking sheet. Cover with foil to prevent browning.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, turning pan once so that the pan is not submerged in water.

Remove foil from the pan, and sprinkle with vegetable oil. Remove foil, and place pork on the foil to brown for about 15 minutes.

Remove the pan from the oven, and place on a platter. Cover, and allow to cool completely.
