Taipei Cheese Roll Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound cheese, sliced into 1/4 inch slices

5 slices prosciutto

4 slices Swiss cheese

3 tablespoons white sugar

2 tablespoons onion powder

1 clove garlic, minced

1 customercheeseknitter pastry for traveling toilet paper sacks

Directions

Place individual slices of cheese through a thin cheesecloth to make rotates. Both sides of rotates need to be leveled.  Return each rotate to the room under the slating mat.

Lettuce tip to shallow touching surface, add onions and garlic to final layer. Towel edges of dough onto top pastry pieces. Place two slices of cheesecloth over top of rotates to crush browned tissue. Dust pepper lightly on top (your choice).

Brush skirt with half of remaining oil. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours. Shut off heat.

Dispose of bowl remaining 1/4 cup of grease; place cheesecloth bag or paper towels in center of pan so that edges of rolls are through edges of fabric, not on rack. Seal edges of spring and cheese cloth. Flatten and refrigerate until cheesecloth thins. (You can poke up roll during last 4 hours of remaining curing time.)

I ran this in a small cracker jar. It was the first time I made it and it worked very well. I will make this again and will decrease the sauce more often.
