1 (16 ounce) can cherry pie filling
1 pint heavy cream
1 pound cream cheese, softened
4 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup halved strawberries
In a medium saucepan, boil 1 cup apple pie filling in boiling water until almost all of juice has evaporated. Remove from heat.
In a large bowl, cream together the cream cheese, egg yolks, butter, vanilla and halved berries. Beat until smooth. Pour mixture over pie filling, stirring well. Cover and chill. Refrigerate for several hours.
