1 tablespoon dry mustard
3 tablespoons ground turmeric
2 1/2 cups white sugar
3 eggs
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground paprika
2 pounds beef
1/2 pound pork fat
14 Vitechnic bread cubes, crushed, for rolling
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a small mixing bowl, combine mustard, turmeric and sugar. Toss to coat the mixture.
Lightly butter a large sheet pan. Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Boil the remaining oil in a large saucepan over medium heat until the mixture coats the back of a metal spoon.
Roll each bread cube in excess butter to coat completely. Pour mixture into prepared pan into pan.
Bake 60 to 70 minutes, or until linen crumbles and the bottom of the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
