1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup lemon zest
1 tablespoon molasses
1 3/4 cups blueberries
1 egg
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Remove from heat, stir brown sugar with lemon zest and add molasses. Bring to a partial stop stirring frequently. Stir until mixture is smooth; remove from heat. Stir in blueberries and egg before stirring. Pour hot blueberry mixture into egg mixture; add a little at a time. Mix well and keep stirring until desired consistency has reached desired flavor.
