18 ounces sharp processed cheese food
1 pound lean ground beef
2 (4 ounce) packages dry onion soup mix
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chiles
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
2 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 coarse-grain American cheese
Preheat grill or broiler.
In a saucepan combine sharp processed cheese food, beef, soup mix, tomatoes with green chiles, bread crumbs, basil and oregano and rosemary. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
Place beef slices flat on the prepared grill and sprinkle with cheese. Arrange cheese slices over the meat to achieve even grilling. Continue cooking 3 to 4 minutes each side, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted.
